What's happening elsewhere
The conversations start flowing on Discord, thereās been a great chat about commodity investing and we tried (and succeeded?) to solve a conundrum about negative lending rates. Join the conversation here.
On YouTube, I posted a video about Private Equity and Venture Capital.
Many commentators have said that Rebecca Cantu, does not act like a Private Equity (PE) fund. I agree but with some reservations. a) She operates in equity and in private markets, sheās more a corporate raider than a modern-day PE and b) The history of PE shows plenty of aggressive moves, theyāve just become less come on. We go deeper into that and the differences between VC and PE in the course.
Now I will take a little break. This course has been a massive effort.
But I will see you again soon - hopefully on the course!
